Goku vs Saitama
It's a question that often sparks flame wars on forums, comment sections on YouTube, and social media. If Saitama vs. Goku event, who will win? Unfortunately for me, my answer to the question might make both sides my enemy.
If Saitama and Goku fight, the winner will be the world in which the battle takes place. In the world of One-Punch Man, he would win. In the Dragon Ball world, Goku will win. Neither scenario will make either of them happy, which makes the fight look silly.

The purpose of One-Punch Man and Dragon Ball
In Dragon Ball, Goku works to show that any obstacle can be overcome. No matter what kind of new opponent comes your way, enjoy the challenge and you will get through it. You may not win on your first try and you are sure to get in trouble, but you will.
On the other hand, One-Punch Man focuses on a hero who has already defeated all of his opponents. In combat, no one can match him. Not only had all of his competitors been defeated by him, but they no longer bothered him at all. His power is absolute and he has become an insurmountable obstacle.
You see, the purpose of the two stories collide. This is the main reason why this fight is ridiculous. If Goku entered the world of One-Punch Man, Saitama wouldn't have to worry about him. This goes against Goku's personality, which aims to defeat any opponent. If Saitama enters the Dragon Ball universe, Goku will eventually find a way to defeat his opponent. This goes against Saitama's character, as he is not meant to go beyond infinity.

This goes against the character of Goku, whose aim is to defeat any opponent. If Saitama entered the Dragon Ball universe, Goku would end up clouding a way to defeat his opponent. This goes against Saitama's character, as
infinity isn't meant to be overcome.

Goku is clearly the one with the clear advantage. But that still doesn't mean he's going to win. Saitama just didn't need to wield the kind of power that Goku possesses.
As strong as Goku is, his strength can be measured. Saitama's strength knows no bounds. It's like comparing the kilograms a human can lift to the number of drops of water in the ocean. It just doesn't make sense.
People who have this exploit-based discussion don't understand what One-Punch Man really is. However, Saitama's most powerful feats (jumping from the moon to Earth, split attack destroying the planet's surface) are nowhere near as powerful as Goku's. Will Saitama's exploits be comparable? Only time will tell, it depends on the opponents he faces.
No Chance For Goku To Stand Against Saitama ?
As mentioned above, Saitama's strength is said to be infinite. But does that mean he has no flaws in the fight? not exactly.
Saitama's arsenal is very limited. He has no lethal techniques and views martial arts as "quirky moves". When a meteor threatened his city, it effortlessly destroyed it, but couldn't prevent much collateral damage.
This could indicate that he really wasn't trying his best, which is true, but the fact is that he wasn't used to dealing with such attacks. Also, it is unknown if Saitama can survive without breathing air. When he landed on the moon, he finally held his breath. Maybe it's just a reaction because it was his first time in space, but we don't know.
Goku can only throw a big Kamehameha at the planet, instead of targeting Saitama. Regardless of whether Saitama can survive in space, the hero cannot count failure to save his planet as a victory. We all know that's not how Saiyans like to fight, so it's unlikely to happen.
